Not getting notifications on Samsung phone
Please go to help/support section in the app and press the 'Send Test Notification'. If you receive the test notification popup then your device is setup for push notifications but your device is stopping notifications when the app is closed. This may be due to one or more of the reasons below
1. Power Saving mode
Follow instructions in the link to turn off power saving mode https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001588/
2. Sleeping apps
Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Battery and device care. Tap Battery, and then tap Background usage limits.
Turn off Put unused apps to sleep or add the app to the Never sleeping apps section.
3. Custom theme
If you use a custom theme this may prevent notifications from some apps. Please use the instructions in the link to remove the custom theme https://whyingo.org/how-to-restore-default-theme-samsung-galaxy-s10/
